Our evidence-based, participatory and practical training is facilitated by a highly experienced team of caregivers, peer trainers, community rehabilitation workers, clinicians and technicians.
We take a train-the-trainer approach where learning cascades, with people first participating in a workshop, and then those with interest and aptitude for training co-facilitate, facilitate and finally move on to train others.
This embeds the knowledge and skills and helps to ensure that the impact continues long after Motivation’s part of the work ends.
We build capacity across the inclusion and wheelchair provision ecosystem, building on the existing knowledge, experience and skill of all those involved.
Building this capacity means that wheelchair users get the quality and choice of services and products they are entitled to for independence, inclusion and autonomy.
